Patrick Nunziata
Patrick is a Toronto-based abstract artist who explores the act of mark-making.
In essence, Patrick finds painting to be an intuitive & meditative activity. He explores the physical properties of the paint & materials he works with, understanding their potential & limitations. Each piece is a exercise in mark-making, abstraction, figuration & their collective implications on the physical experience of producing art.
Patrick has collaborated with brands, homeowners & art collectors, producing traditional works & wearable art, transforming his pieces into clothing & handbags, large-scale murals, live-painting & brand activation. Notably, his work has been commissioned across Toronto to created large-scale community murals in Mount Dennis and neighbourhoods in the West End.
